About

I've spent a career keeping services and networks from getting hacked. Now I'm doing it for houses.

I'm Joe Pantuso. I hold multiple patents on firewall technology, sold a startup to McAfee, and was a director at Network Associates. I've defended sensitive and valuable corporate data against state sponsored hackers.

I came to Big Sky to enjoy the next chapter of my life in this beautiful place.

My own homes are where LMI started. Making large homes just take care of themselves makes sense to me. I've been building ever smarter and more complex home systems for almost a decade. The software that runs an LMI house is the latest evolution of this.

What I want for a client is simple to say and hard to build: a house that takes care of itself and the people in it, that nobody has to fight with, and that nobody outside can get into. Things that are truly simple to use often require deep complexity underneath.

How we work

We start with a conversation about how you actually live in the house: who's there, when, and what goes wrong when you're not. What the flow of your life looks like in the home. Whether your home has visitors when you are not there. Then we design the system, build it, and look after it for as long as you want us to. For new construction and renovations we work hand in hand with your builder and architect.

Where we work

Big Sky, the Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks, Moonlight Basin, and the Gallatin Canyon.
